Default multiple email accounts -- different computers (Orange Home ISP)

We have an ISP account with Orange (Livebox Home) in the UK and have
recently bought Outlook 2007.

I've spoken to Orange and they tell me that they're "not trained to give
advice about how to set up multiple email addresses across different
computers using rules on Outlook 2007" --- they say they're only trained to
provide settings for Outlook Express (bizarre, I know, in this world where
everyone uses Outlook, but there you go...). They advised me I have to
contact Microsoft or those in the know.

While what "Expert" cites gives you mechanics, you may find that it doesn't
work exactly as expected if the "x" and "y" addresses are aliases of each
other. That is, if you use the exact same username/password to log into the
mailboxes, or if you log into the web interface to the mailboxes and see
messages for both addresses, the two addresses are actually only one address
and you'll have to take steps within Outlook (via rules) to segregate the
incoming mail so that you each receive what you expect, rather than each
receiving messages for you both.
