I can receive mail, but cannot send mail. Have uninstalled all McAfee
antivirus and firewall. Have updated OE to the latest version. Not an
ISP problem. I can set up the email account on another computer with
OE and everything works fine. When I set up the email account on this
computer, I cannot send messages. Windows XP...XP firewall is turned
off also. Any other ideas. I have tried to go to safe mode, and get
the same results.

Error message:

The connection to the server has faled. Account 'mail.comcast.net'
Server 'smtp.comcast.net' Protocol SMTP Port 25 Secure SSL No Socket
Error 10060 Error number 0x800CCC0E


Have searched MS knowledge base with no luck. Any other ideas?
