Care to provide a link to that discussion? I doubt that this issue could be
rooted so deep and while a full reinstall would work it is probably needles.
Also, even if this would be the case, it would probably only apply to a
certain amount of models which have gotten an image from a specific date.

Hi Heidi - Is your PC a Dell and does this happen if you open Word or
any of the other Office programmes (such as Word)???. If so, there ar
numerous reports of this happening (it happened to me). The only sure
way of solving it is to reinstall your operating system from scratch
using the disc supplied and NOT the system restore facility. It seems
to be an issue with the factory image. Regards - David
