Thanks so much, Brian. I will try that.

I have a desktop machine with a pst file in my Outlook 2003. I would
like to copy this pst file to my laptop. How do I synchronize the same
file on 2 machines so I won't get duplicate e-mails? I use one premium
Yahoo e-mail account and several free Yahoo accounts with YahooPOPs..

Since the information detailing what had been downloaded and what has not is
not kept in the PST, even if you do use the same PST on both PCs, if you
receive from the same account(s) on each PC you *will* get duplicates if you
select the option to leave messages one the server.

That said, put the PST in a network-shared folder on one PC and reference
that same PST on both PCs. As long as you don't run Outlook simultaneously
on the two machines, it should work. Be sure to back the PST up often,
though, because network-shared PSTs are subject to corruption.
