How to set OE as mailer for Guest account?
There are several default settings that apply to all Windows users. The
default mail client is one setting that applies to all Windows users.

Apparently not. Do you mean: do I want it to be?
Yes, I could get away with that. How would I do that?
But also, I would like to know how to make OE the default mail client for
just Guest, permitting others to set their own default.
That is, without having to do it after I set it up for Guest. In other
words, if I set this up for Guest, I don't want it to change anything for
other users.
Well, that's the ideal. But if that's too hard or not possible, I'll
settle for whatever I can get.
Thanks.

I am use Win XP SP3 with Office 2003.
How can I set OE as the mail program for the Guest account, which does
not
have administrator privileges?
I go into IE Internet Options Programs, select OE for E-Mail, then
click
OK.
But when I re-enter IE Internet Options Programs, E-Mail has reverted
to
Outlook.
I presume that is the reason why I cannot forward NG postings from OE.
I
get the Microsoft Office Outlook error "no profiles have been created".
I have tried configure IE Internet Options Programs when do no other
programs are running, notably OE.
If non-administrator Guest is not permitted to make such a change, how
can
someone do this for Guest from an user account that does have
administrator
privilege?
