There is a way to find out how many subscribers there are to the groups you
subscribe to, by clicking on Msnews.Microsoft.com in the Folders column in
Outlook Express. However, since there are so many newsgroups you would
only need to look at those related to your computer system. Also there
are many other websites where you will find user forums offering all kinds
of wise and wonderful advice, for example, Dell User Forums, Big Blueball
Forums, Castlecops, and many more. But life is too short to spend all your
computer time reading about other users' and other types of computer
problems. I am amazed by the number of computer gurus who contribute
so much of their time and knowledge every day to helping others with their
problems. However, I make a point of using the Dell Forums because I
have several Dell computers and they are easier to use than the Microsoft
Newsgroups You can find them he

Is there any way to get OE6 to display the number of articles in the
newsgroup subscriptions box (or anywhere else for that matter)? There are
so many usenet groups these days, many of them totally bogus and not worth
navigating to. Nice to be able to see if there are any appreciable number
of posts to a group before doing the download.
Thanks - Oppie
