Default OL2003 - dragging mail to tasks doesn't create attachment of original, how to fix?

That's too much work - just drag to the button at the bottom of the nav
pane.

no outlook bar - there is the shortcut pane but its not as useful. If you do
it my way, you can have your favorites and drag to other folder types. If
you need to save it to a different folder (like Tasks 1) use the Move to
folder command instead of save and close.

sigh Well, at least I got _half_ of the functionality back, although
with the added extra step since the Tasks are no longer accessible in
the folder pane so can't slide directly

Sure you can. Just use the Folder List view instead of the Mail view.

Oh, yeay. I figured out how to get that; tricky that there's more than
one "folder view".

So I can drag directly that way.

But that view loses me my favorites - and there's no Outlook Bar anymore
... or is there?? Maybe there's something that's replaced that that isn't
just the limited favorites (?)
