Try renaming the MSMAPI32.DLL to MSMAPI32.XXX. Then try starting

Outlook.

File is at \Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033 for

english
systems.

I just installed Office 2003 from a disk and cannot open Outlook.

I get
this
error message instead:

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or

the wrong
version. This could have been caused by installing other

messaging
software.
Please reinstall Outlook.

Reinstallation does not help. All other Office programs work

fine.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
