Do you mean OE6?
There are 2 places to look for disconnect after send/receive, look on the
send /receive dialog box 1/3 down on the left make sure no tick
there.
also at OEtoolsoptionsconnection2nd down.

Also look he IEtoolsinternet optionsconnectionssettingsdial up
settingsadvanced. if either are ticked remove.
