MDB attachments being blocked
Turns out that ALL level 1 file types that were removed via the security
template are no longer being sent. I had added them as level 1 types. The
types are MDB, REG, and BAT. Outlook appears to be using the default
settings instead of honoring the Server supplied values. I have two Public
folders Outlook Security Settings and Outlook 10 Security Settings. I have
tried the values 1 and 2 for CheckAdminSettings in the registry.

All clients have Windows XP Pro (up to date with all patches and SP's),
Outlook 2003 connecting to Exchange 2003. Many of our users are reporting
that they can no longer receive MDB attachments. Note that it is sporadic.
Some get them and some not. We use the Exchange security template with
MDB's set as removed from blocking. All client PC's have the registry
entry to point to the server for the settings. We use WSUS so all clients
should have the same updates. I had thought maybe a recent Office security
update caused this so I rolled back some test machines without any luck. I
even re-published the security template on the server. No luck.
Suggestions?
