You might use categories instead. For instance, if you have a DL called
"newsletter", create a category of the same name, and assign it to all those
contacts you want to 'be in the list'.

If you want to send an email to the certain group of contacts, switch to the
By Categories view, select the category, and drag it to the inbox.

Benefits a No limits, and if you update a contact, it's automatically up
to date in the newsletter list as well.
