I am still getting the operation aborted message on the slipstick site, but
today I read the screen beneath the popup error. So I tried putting
"outlook.exe /resettodobar" in as a 'run' command. While outlook was
restarting it gave me the error I quoted in my initial post. I now get that
error for 'simple list' as well as 'to-do list'. I'm now using 'active
tasks'. If this keeps up I won't have anything left to use.

Diane, The url you supplied comes back with "Internet Explorer cannot open
the internet site .... Operation aborted.

Close outlook and restart using the /resettodobar switch. See
http://www.slipstick.com/problems/todo_bar_error.asp if you need help doing
it.

Something became corrupted while I was sorting Tasks while in the "To-Do
List" View. I can no longer display that view and get an error that says:
“An
error occurred when attempting to display this folder. Changing your
folder
view may correct the problem.” I’m using “Simple Tasks” as a substitute
view
but I'd like to know how to get back "To-Do List".
