Using POP account, and have reentered the settings to confirm, additionally
can successfully get the mail in Express with same settings.
Additional charge?? Don't understand.
This problem has just occurred after long use of Outlook; years not days.

Dave, are you trying to connect to and Exchange server or POP account. If
a POP account double check your account setup to make sure the information
is accurate. Also if POP account there may be an additional charge to
pull the information into Outlook.

If this is an exchange server then you would need to talk to your Exchange
admin or IT department to verify your account information.
