Smile Cannot send emails on my laptop

I use the Outlook Web App and have recently been having problems.

I have a new laptop and I am unable to send emails in outlook on this. When I open a new email and begin typing an address in the 'To' field normally a list of names that I have previously emailed comes up and I click on one. This happens on every other computer that I have used (even if it is the first time I have logged onto outlook on the computer) but not on my new laptop for some reason.

Also, when I have typed the address in and click 'Send' the email does not send, but remains on the screen as if I have not clicked 'Send'. The following message comes up in a grey square in the corner:

But I cannot send the email.

Originally I thought I may have changed my outlook settings but just logged in on my girlfriend's laptop and emails send fine. Also, I can send emails from my hotmail account on my new laptop, no problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
