Default Maximum mailbox size

steve,
You missed a not.
Generally a dbx file should 'not' exceed a few hundred megabytes, or else it
gets more likely to be corrupted.

Yes, OE has a self-destruct feature that is enhanced by antivirus software
(see points 2 and 3 he www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2) In addition,
backup frequently as your hard drive could also fail and then you would
lose your messages forever. Generally a dbx file should exceed a few
hundred megabytes, or else it gets more likely to be corrupted.

Another question on the same lines. I understand that if you let your
mailboxes become too full your OE could become corrupt, sometimes after
the compacting procedure.

Could you lose one or more of your folders contents???

TIA
