PS. The Uniblu Registry Booster which I just tested says it is a Microsoft
Gold Certified Partner.
This is no recommendation to use it, presumably?
It produced maybe 10 times more errors than PC Tools Registry Mechanic.
Any comments welcome.
I realise this is not the place (neither thread nor group) for this
discussion but since you linked to this useful forum I thought I would ask.
Maybe there is a quick answer.
Many thanks.

Incredible advice. I have been running PC Tools Registry Mechanic weekly,
thinking that by removing broken links and the like I am doing the
registry (and myself) a favour.
Apparently not.
Looks like I should leave well alone!

Ugh. If you think your Registry needs to be "cleaned" or "repaired,"
read http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099 and draw your own
conclusions.
