Default emails being sent but not recieved

ok have turned of the email scanning. to see if that helps.
i dont often send her pictures it is normall just sister talk that might go
on a little if you know what i mean. when i have sent them they do appear in
my sent box. this has only been happening now on and off for about 9 mths
now. it is just a very hit and miss thing as to if she gets it. it is a works
email address in south africa that i send to. she has asked them to look at
it but they say her end is ok. thanks for your help so far i will try
sending her an other email in the morning and see what happens. thanks
again

It is most likely on her end. There is one thing you can try to make sure
though. If a message appears in Sent Items, that means that it was received
by your ISP intact and the problem lies from that point on. There is one
exception. E-mail scanning can fool OE into thinking a message was sent when
it actually wasn't.

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving, and
causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes
and has even been responsible for loss of messages. Your up-to-date A/V
program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program
and reinstall in Custom Mode and uncheck e-mail scanning when the option
arises.

Also, is there any relation to the size of the messages she gets as opposed
to those she doesn't? Eg: Does a text only message go through, but not one
with pictures? Her server may have a very low size limit. Just something
else to ponder.

the answer is yes to all the questions. the person i send to gets an email
some times but not all the time, she is my sister living in south africa.
the
prob. seems to be with her only could it be something her end do you
think?

If you send a message to yourself, do you get it? Does this happen with
only
this one person? Does the message you send appear in Sent Items?
