Default Options under "Tasks" are greyed out

I have installed Outlook with Business Contact Manager and whenever I create
or after creating a new Task all of the options except Save and "X" are
greyed out but are selectable from the menus. For example, Recurrence, Assign
Task, Mark Complete are all greyed out.

I have tried the "Detect and Repair" option and I have tried just
reinstalling Outlook and removing and reinstalling just Outlook and I have
the same problem.
