What you are missing is the OPEN command. The PowerPoint viewer set
up a SHOW command as the default. You need to add an OPEN command to
make OE happy.

I've attached a file which should fix that for you.

Save the file, then rename to a REG file (e.g. PPS-Fix.reg). Then
double click the file. It will add the registry entry for you.

Note that this file is specific for your PC. It might not work for
others, depending on where things are installed.

There's a utility there you can download that will let you capture
the
file associations information for PPS files. Attach that file here
(or
e-mail it to me) and we'll take a look at it to see what might be
wrong.

manually. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I went back to the box
where I
typed the stuff per the instructions and noticed that where I
typed
"Open" it showed "&print." Also, the program name that was typed
was
changed slightly. So I don't know what is going on.
