Is the Junk Mail folder a local folder? I dont quite understand. I access
my Junk Mail folder alot from OE but now that I've configure Hotmail for
POP3, I cannot see my Junk Mail folder anymore. Do I now have to goto the
webpage and look at Junk Mail folder there to see if there's mail I've
missed?

That is correct. POP3 is an older protocol, which does not synchronize
local
folders with server folders. Rather, it downloads messages from the server
Inbox. And MSOE does not default to the "Leave messages on the server";
you
have to consciously select that option, or the email messages will be
deleted from the server.
