Default OE6 won't accept PW

I'm on Win7 now so I can only say to follow the directions as best you
can, or hang in there until you get another reply. I thought the
instructions would be self explanatory.

Bruce:

In this suggestion; should both boxes at the bottom of the Permissions
for
Protected Storage System ..... be checked? And should apply and OK be
clicked?

Thanks Again

The log on PW; i.e. the one asked for when I open OE6; the same one
listed in
tools/accts/servers/PW.

There is no connection to OE and IE7. Are you referring to the OE
logon
password, or an identity password? The logon PW must be the same one
you
set up with your ISP when you first set up Outlook Express.

OE6 signon won't accept the password I have registered with it and
IE7
etc.
The PW works fine with IE7.
Is OE6 down now or is the properties box in Accts/mail/server
malfunctioning?
Thanks
