Default Why won't default mail folders open in Outlook after re-instal

Well, at least I don't have to deal with that missing CAB file anymore, and
the problem I had posted yesterday has been fixed. Somehow, I was trying to
load Office XP in place of the 2003 version of all the Office that I had on
my system, and Outlook doesn't like that, for sure. I now have Office 2003
up and going, and Outlook is alive and well.

It's quite an interesting bug, the old missing SKU011.CAB file.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest service pack for that version
of office as well?

I was having a problem with Office and the "missing SKU011.CAB" file error,
and could never get it fixed, so I uninstalled Office, and re-installed.
Now, I don't have the missing file error, but Outlook won't run. I get a
message that says "Unable to open default mail folders" when I try to open
Outlook. All the other programs from the Office 10 CD have loaded OK and
run
properly. I have tried the re-install twice, and I've run detect and
repair
twice. Still the same problem with Outlook.
