This means that you are using an Exchange account and a PST and that you
have the PST set as your delivery location in the "Delivery new e-mail to
the following location" drop-down at the bottom of ToolsE-mail
AccountsNext.

These 'two' calendars do not syncronize I haven't had this before can

No they don't synchronize.

I would like that the default calendar was all I see and use and that
when appointments are sent to me and i accept or otherwise that these
are then inserted in the defuault calendar. this does not happen at
present.

Change your delivery location to be your mailbox on the Exchange server,
stop and restart Outlook, copy everything from your PST back to the Exchange
server, and then close the PST. You will how have opne set of Personal
Folders and it will be on the Exchange server. The added advantages of this
are numerous if you wish to make use of the sharing inherent in the Exchange
environment.
