Default Compacting Messages?

Let it do the compact and you won't see that message age until you close
OE 100 more times. If you don't have a lot of messages, it probably
won't take more than a few seconds. Make sure to let it finish before
you turn your PC off.

Compacting recovers the wasted space from deleted/moved messages. It's
necessary to the well-being of the mail files.

After all these years, I'm now getting a pop-up box that says "To free
up
disk space, Outlook Express can compact messages. This may take a few
minutes." I have cancelled it each time the box comes up, as I have
few
emails in all my folders. What gives with this? And how do I stop
the box
from appearing everytime I exit Outlook Express?

Thanks.
