Default Linking contacts

There's nothing built into Outlook to do that; perhaps there may be a 3rd
party add-in that would. I would just open the edited contact, click File |
Copy to Folder, choose the folder where the copy is, and click OK. It will
say there is already a contact with that e-mail address in that folder and
ask what you want to do -- just merge them.
