Default Signature on 2nd mail account

I have 2 mail accounts in my Outlook Express and have applied
different signatures to each in Tools/Options/Signatures.

When I Create New Mail this (correctly) comes up with my default
settings in the From box and with the signature for that account.
However, when I change the account in the From box the signature
doesn't change.

I've tried everything I can think of and the only solution seems to
be to change the default mail account each time which is ridiculously
inefficient. I must be missing something but I can't see it so
please can someone explain how I set things up so the correct
signature appears for each mail account.

Thanks a lot in anticipation.

There really isn't a fix.
I put the Insert Signature button on the toolbar in the compose window and
then highlight the default signature and use the drop-down arrow next to
that button.
