Default Icons in Dist Liste

Russ,

What do you recommend that has similar functionality?

Probably not very important.
DL's are the lowest item on Outlook's totem poll.
As long as it works, don't worry.
If it doesn't, there will likely be no solution.
Most users abandon DL's for that very reason.

I've only run OK2003, so all come from the latest v. I enter the names
from the select members icon.

When I update, the icons lose their color. If I reenter a member, the
color is there on the new entry, but it stays gray for the old entry.

Apparently that means nothing or is not very important.

Thanks

Dennis

Usually means the member was created differently, such as in a different
version of Outlook.
Also members entered directly into the DL rather than selected from the
underlying Contacts Folder may appear differently.

I have a number of distribution lists that work very well on OL2003.

Sometimes the icon to the left of the names is gray and sometimes it is
in color.

I refresh and it doesn't change.

What does this mean?

Thanks,

Dennis
