Default KB911567 update

As far as I'm concerned, the update was totally unnecessary. The patch would
prevent people from opening address books sent to them unsolicited as an
e-mail attachment. A monkey wouldn't open that.

In doing so, they also removed the ability to save an eml file as unsent.
One step forward, two steps back.

Here's the official article:

Thanks Bruce. That took care of the problem. Would you happen to know
what these updates were for? Thanks.

I think MS just added that to discourage removal. It is not on my machine
and will never be until they fix saved eml files so they do not appear as
already sent.

IMHO, remove it.

I read in another newsgroup message about problems caused by the update
KB911567. I've also had trouble with corrupt phone book and I can't
reply to messages or combine news messages. Could this be my problem? If
it is I did go to add/remove programs and was going to remove it but if
I do a remove message comes up "If you remove this update the following
might not run right KB900485, KB908531, KB911562, KB912812. Will it be
alright still to remove KB911567? Thanks.

William
