of experience with Outlook and other MS applications, I would suggest the
opposite - always include hidden files in searches because a lot of the
unusual files (like the .n2k) you seek are hidden.

suggested that there was, perhaps some way in which I could (from

Outlook) locate the nk2 file on our network, as perhaps it might

migrated there. My colleagues can't find their nk2 files either.
