Save the list as a .txt file. Open it in Notepad. Remove the few lines at the top so that only the names and addresses remain. Save it, and you will have a nice tab-delimited file that Excel can open.

Would like to know how to export distribution list to excel, so that it could
be shared with someone who are not using outlook. I have tried using the
export feature in outlook without success, (File - import and export - export
to a file - microsoft excel - select 'Contacts'), as this only export the
contacts, but not the distribution list or their contents. Please assist,
Windows XP Pro, Outlook 2003, Excel 2003. Many thanks in advance,
