Default Email Notification Open Message?

Not possible natively in Outlook 2000 - try for a third party notification
program. There are many out there.

After furious head scratching, NOIC asked:

| Hi all,
| I am running WinXP Pro & MS Outlook 2000 on home network workgroup
| configured as Corporate & Workgroup. I leave Outlook running all the
| time minimized in the taskbar. I was wondering if anyone knows a way
| (either within Outlook, Windows or using an Add On) to make Outlook
| open a new email message in a window when the message is received? I
| have seen other types of programs (for example there is a phone
| answering machine program) that opens a new window on each call and
| cascades them across the screen. I would like that to happen with
| Outlook if possible.
