Freezes when copying from Word

This just started today; I am used to copying and pasteing from word
documents into Outlook Express 6 messages.
Now OE freezes and terminates the program. The following pops up:
"Outlook Express has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry
for the inconvenience." then it says to close and asks if you want to send
a
report to Microsoft.
I use Windows XP Home for quites some time now. I did up load IE 7 Beta 2,
but that has been at least a week now and this problem started to day.
