Default contacts missing

Then you should:
1. Backup your data frequently.
2. Understand your synchronization procedure better.

I have suffered the same loss of contacts for some time. It is aggravating
enough I have considered abandoning Outlook for CardScan. I have entered
the
same contact several times over. I have about 1200 contacts recorded, and
I
use a PDA.

We've had no reports of Outlook's randomly losing data for no reason.
