Using multiple ids in Outlook 2002 in non-Exchange environment
I guess the only way to know whether what you are talking about is the same
thing as what I am asking about. In attempts to set this up, I have not seen
what I want. But I am certainly nowhere close to being an
experienced/knowledgeable Outlook user. Any tips on getting what you are
talking about set up in Outlook?

The problem with that approach is that I do not want the 2 email
accounts to use the same Inbox.
You said, :Is it possible to set up Outlook 2002 to use 2 ids in a
non-Exchange
environment (Earthlink) and have them both displayed at the same time?" To
me, that implies both in the same folder set, since that's how Outlook
ALWAYS presents multiple POP accounts. ANything else requires rules to
separate the incoming messages.
And I would like not to have to
choose which email account is to be displayed when I start Outlook.
Outlook will display them both.
In an Exchange environment, I can have a number of email addresses
available in the same Outlook session. I'm trying to determine if
Outlook supports that in a non-Exchange environment and, if so, how
to set it up and use it.
One account for each mail address you want your senders to see.
