Why not just right click and drag the email to the calendar and select "copy
here as appointment with text?"
Alternatively, write a little code that you can run on these items to pull
the information and populate an appointment item.

After furious head scratching, settlit asked:
| I get a lot of emails in Outlook alerting me to upcoming meetings
| with the time, date, place, etc. It would be nice to highlight the
| relevant text, and have a wizard automatically sift through the text,
| pick out the salient details, and convert the text to a new item in
| my Outlook calendar. As it is, I have to do a lot of copying and
| pasting. This would save time.
