Find my tasks once i've reinstalled Outlook
Thank you, Milly. I've since done a system restore and found all my tasks.
WHEW! But Outlook is misbehaving again. I think what I need to do is try to
debug Outlook. First though, how do I save my tasks so that I don't lose them
again? Archive?

Search for all .pst files on your computer (turn on searching hidden files)
and when you find each one, open it in Outlook using File-Open-Outlook
Data File.
