I'm out of ideas as to what might be wrong.

As you drag the message, does the cursor get a box with a + in it?

YES I DO

Does it change to a circle with a slash through it when you get to
the
destination folder?

YES I GET THAT WHEN I HAVE THE EMAIL HIGHTLIGHTED AND START TO DRAG
IT.

Do you have any problems dragging messages from one OE folder to
another
folder?

YES FROM ANY OE FOLDER.

Do you have any problems dragging files from one Windows folder to
another Windows folder?

NO I DON'T

Also check the "system mechanic 6" to see if it has any security
settings restricting dragging files.
I JUST UNINSTALLED SYSTEM MECHANIC 6. NOTHING CHANGED.

Does File, Save As to EML file still work? (Yes it does.)

What version of Windows are you using?
(Windows xp home version service pack 2)

What version of Outlook Express are you using (look in Help, About
Outlook Express).
(Outlook express version 6.2)

You mention that this was working for you. Do you recall
installing
any
software since it last worked, especially any security software?
(I did install system mechanic 6)

Try going to File | Identities and set up a new Identity and

if the
problem is the same in that Identity.

I have a problem with outlook express. When I select email and
drag
them to
a
folder so I can drop them in it. It will not longer drop the
email
into a
folder. No matter which folder it is or on which hard drive.
I
have
no
idea
how this happened. Anyone know can I fix it??? Thanks.
