Are both computers using the same operating system, with all patches up to
date. Otherwise you are comparing apples and oranges, since different
versions of Windows may not be compatible with programs that run well in
earlier versions. Also there are some patches that may have affected the
SendMail application. Is Outlook Express set on your "problem" computer as
the default mail program or do you have another email program that may be
the default?
Lastly, some antivirus/antispam programs may cause the problem. Try
disabling any such program that "touches" Outlook Express in any fashion and
retest. Have you tried just saving the scanned file to your Desktop and
then using the right click option, SendTo/Mail Recipient?

Installed Paper Port Version 9. The Outlook Express Icon does not appear
on Send To Bar. This being the case, I can't use my scanner button to
send e-mail. I can load Paper Port on my second computer and the e-mail
icon shows up in Paper Port. I have talked to Paper Port Tech, Visioneer
(Scanner), and HP (computer) tech reps. No help so far. Paper Port and
Visioneer Tech Reps agree that it is segmenting within Outlook Express and
or Internet Explorer that is causing the problem. Thanks in advance.
