Pardon my ignorance--But, what's the difference between the two? I can't
tell much difference between the address book in OE6, and the Contacts
folder in Outlook 2003.

version of Outlook. Be aware that Outlook has not used a Personal Address
Book for many years. Accordingly, it is unlikely that you are.
Outlook stores Contact information in Contacts Folders, not "address
books."
