Bruce, there wasn't any message body other than a brief comment about the
pictures. But no pictures after that. And no, I hadn't done anything to
the registry.

If they were Inserted, they are in the message body. If they were
Attached, they will be visible *after* the message body unless you did a
reg hack such as this:
