In the advanced tab for the account settings do you have SSL selected in the
drop-down list in "Use the following type of encrypted connection:"

I installed the 2007 beta 2 and to configure my IMAP email I must use SSL
on
both incoming and outgoing mail servers. Incoming requires port 993 and
outgoing requires 587. Using these (as well as 25 and 465 on outgoing), I
get
an error message that the server does not support the encryption type and
to
contact the ISP. These parameters are from my ISP. I am connecting from
home
using a VPN but had no problems with OL2003 and the same settings.
Suggestions?
