Default Suddenly All Custom Inbox Folders Missing

Thanks for your quick response. After searching for .dbx files, I found that
yesterday's "missing" OE message store folder, containing everything that was
missing had somehow moved itself into a subfolder of one of NewsBin's (a
binary newsreader) subscribed newsgroups folders - a location on a completely
different physical drive from where OE's message store is kept. A true
mystery - but I imported them to their proper location and all seems well.
Hmmmm...

Thanks

Search for .dbx on your computer. These files are hidden in Win 2000 and
XP. If you still have the sub folders, import them back into OE using
File/Import/Messages.

If you have Norton checking emails, disable it. If you have *anything*
plugged into OE, disable it.

You might want to consider this free back up program for OE:
