I had a MAPI.dll error in outlook. I was frustrated for over a week and
picked up a solution from another post in outlook. Rename MSMAPI32.dll to
MSMAPI32.xxx. I did this and outlook reconfigured itself and recovered my
emails and addresses. It worked for me. Good luck.
