I really can't think of anything in OE that would cause this. Sounds more
like a third party app. The only thing I could suggest is possibly a damaged
identity.

File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and set up a newsgroup
there and try it. If all is well, you can import your messages from the old
identity and delete it.

Someone I know is having the problem that when he just *reads* messages on
a
newsgroup, when closing each message (X close box), OE automatically sends
a
response to the group, which shows up on the group as a blank reply (the
original content of the message being included, but nothing else). Never
heard of this problem, anyone else got any clues?
