Default Changing default contacts folder

Not sure what functionality I'm losing. I'm still able to function fully
with making the pst file the default file.

How do you change the default contacts folder for Outlook 2003? I
have my e-mail delivered to an Outlook .pst file to keep the server
free and clear due to the size limitations put on us. However,
whenever I try to add a contact, it always adds it to the server
contact list instead of my default .pst file for e-mails. Thanks in
advance!!

YOu SHOULD have the server (Exchange, I presume) as the default and your
Contacts, Calendar, etc. should remain there. If you're limited on mailbox
space, then moving your mail to folders in a PST is the best way to handle
it, as you are doing. If you were to make the PST the delivery locaton
you'll lose many (most?) of the features using Exchange gives you.
