Default .jpg images

Since you don't have the registry key, that's not your issue.

If you have set Tools, Options, Read, Read All Messages in Plain Text,
images will not automatically show.

For a quick workaround for the current message, press ALT+Shift+H

Bruce, I've gone to the key mentioned in the article
(HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{big long
number}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\), and there is no
reference to "Automatically Inline Images" etc. I am using Windows XP
Home Edition and Outlook Express 6. Any idea what the author meant?

If they were Inserted, they are in the message body. If they were
Attached, they will be visible *after* the message body unless you
did a reg hack such as this:

See this article about disabling automatic viewing of graphic

Someone just sent me several .jpg images. They open OK from the
Attach window, but usually they show up in the body of the e-mail.
I haven't changed any settings, but I can't remember where to look
to make sure that they DO show in the e-mail itself.
