I have the same problem. I have reinstalled Office 2003 Student edition
twice. When that didn't work, I installed Professional instead, and the
problem persists even with all available updates installed. Any ideas?

Could be a corrupt file or some other problem stemming from the
installation. Just one of those things. Reinstalling Outlook will likely
solve the problem. If Outlook is working fine after a reinstall, go to
Microsoft Update to get any updates needed.

I just installed Microsoft Office Professional 2003 and then all
updates
for
outlook and contact manager update. Now I am getting an error message
that
states "Microsoft Office Outlook had encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It than gives me the
option
to
restart Microsoft Office Outlook and to send an error report. I don't
know
what to do about this as it happens every time I use Outlook and is
very
bothersome. Is there anything I can do to stop the error messages or
fix
the
problem?
