Default Links Don't Work

OK, Bruce. Thanks. I re-registered the dll's and Reset my Web Settings per
your instructions. Didn't fix it so I'll try creating a new identity, but
that probably won't be for another day or two. I'll let you know how that
works.

Try re-registering these dlls:

Start | Run | type, or Copy/Paste, these in one at a time and try again.
(Note the space in each command).

regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll

In IE, go to: ToolsInternet OptionsPrograms. Click: Reset Web
Settings - (uncheck box for homepage) - Click Yes.

If you still have a problem, you may have a damaged identity. File |
Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is
well, you can import your messages from the old identity and delete it.

After every reboot, links contained in emails don't work. Every time,
in order to correct it, I have to go to My Computer Tools Folder
Options File Types, select URL: HyperText Transfer Protocol (with
and without Privacy), Select Advanced Select Edit and OK out. I don't
really have to change anything, the values are all correct, I just have
to go through the Edit process. Then all the links work correctly.
Anybody got a clue what my problem is, or how to fix it?

I've been having similar troubles and your directions seem to have fixed the
problem...so far.

Thanks for the help,
