Default Why doesnt' Outlook 2003 synch with ACT! 2006?

Aloha Lee,

Well, the why of it is pretty easy -- when Outlook 2003 was written it didn't
know anything about .PAD files because Act! 2006 wasn't available yet. As
to a workaround -- can Act! 2006 save in .PDF format which you could then
import into Outlook?

Outlook 2003 only looks for the previous database files .dbf and will
not search for ACT! 2006's .pad database. Isn't there a way to make
Outlook 2003 search for this latest file format? Prior to the new ACT!
2006, I entered all contact info into ACT! and did a synch with
Outlook to get names and email addresses...now I can't. Is there a
work-around?
