Are you attempting to access her message store folder containing mail that
is "keyed" to her GUID? It sounds like it. The only way that would work is
if you both used the same GUID which would preclude using another identity.

Each identity has its own GUID to identify it in the registry and all DBX
files for that GUID are only readable while working in that identity.
Switch to another and the mail is gone. That's the way it's supposed to
work. The same thing applies to Contacts stored in the Windows Address
Book.
